Advertising Content Policy

How we decide what runs on TrackNTrain. Last updated June 28, 2026.

TrackNTrain runs a curated, directly-sold, native advertising model. Every ad is reviewed and placed by our team — there are no programmatic ad networks. This policy is intentionally strict because our audience includes people working on their health and body image, and users as young as 15.

Our rights

We may reject, pause, edit, or remove any advertisement or advertiser at our sole discretion, at any time, for any reason or no reason — including reasons not listed here. Submitting an application or creative does not guarantee placement, and approving one ad does not obligate us to approve future ones. If we remove an ad for a policy reason mid-flight, any prepaid unused portion is refunded prorated; if it's removed because the advertiser broke this policy or the law, no refund is owed.

Who can advertise

  • A legitimate, verifiable business or organization — verified before going live.
  • Accurate company, contact, and website information.
  • You own or have the rights to all creative and claims in the ad.
  • You comply with all applicable advertising laws (FTC, etc.).

We will not run (prohibited)

  • Weight-loss pills, "fat burners," appetite suppressants, detox/skinny/laxative teas, diet drops or patches.
  • Any product making rapid-weight-loss, "miracle," or guaranteed body-transformation claims.
  • Steroids, SARMs, prohormones, peptides, or other performance-enhancing drugs.
  • Supplements or foods making disease, cure, or medical claims.
  • MLM / pyramid schemes, "be your own boss" recruiting, get-rich-quick.
  • Crypto, NFTs, token presales, day-trading or forex "systems."
  • Gambling, sports betting, casinos, lotteries.
  • Tobacco, vaping, nicotine, drug paraphernalia; alcohol (by default, mixed-age audience).
  • Adult / sexual content, sexual dating, escort services.
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition.
  • Payday loans, debt-relief schemes, predatory financial products.
  • Counterfeit goods or fake credentials.
  • Anything that body-shames, fear-mongers about appearance, or promotes disordered eating.
  • Political, election, or issue-advocacy ads.
  • Anything illegal, deceptive, or that we judge unsafe for a 15+ audience.

Allowed with extra scrutiny (restricted)

Reputable advertisers only, claims substantiated, and never targeted at or served to minors: supplements (no disease/rapid-loss claims), healthcare / telehealth / coaching (no medical claims or guaranteed outcomes), and legitimate financial services. Apparel, equipment, gyms, food brands, and recovery tech are generally welcome with standard review.

Creative standards (every ad)

  • Truthful and substantiated — no false or exaggerated claims.
  • No deceptive creative: no fake close buttons, fake system UI, fake play buttons, or fake urgency.
  • Body-positive — no shaming and no exploitative "before/after" imagery.
  • No medical or weight-loss outcome promises.
  • Clearly labeled "Sponsored" (FTC) — our label is mandatory and non-removable.
  • Landing page matches the ad, is secure (https), and free of malware or further deceptive popups.
  • Muted-autoplay video must include captions.

Protecting younger users

Our audience includes users as young as 15, so every ad must be appropriate for the youngest user. Restricted categories are never served to minors, and we never target ads using logged health data (weight, body composition, food logs, workouts, injuries, goals, sex, or age) — only voluntarily-provided equipment and sport preferences.

Ad format

We accept the same creative you already run on Instagram / Facebook / TikTok. Video: vertical 9:16 preferred (also 1:1 / 4:5), MP4 or MOV, up to ~60 seconds, plays muted (captions required). Plus a headline, optional body copy, a call-to-action label, and one https destination link, which we tag for traffic attribution.
